LITA is a singer-songwriter and pianist whose unique style weaves Soul, R&B, Hip-hop, Fusion Reggae and Funk with her Indigenous South American roots. Her vocal artistry, fervent songwriting, and vibrant Spirit invoking Unity, leaves you completely inspired.
Lita has worked musically with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s very own Kurt Sodergren, Karl Hunter, Gia Ciambotti, Dave Greene, Duke Wilson, and Lucid Nation (with whom she collaborated and co-wrote the musical, “Mommie Dearest”, a satire based on the film of the same title). Lita was once complimented by one of the greatest Musicians of her time whom she has always loved…Stevie Wonder. “His hand was as big as my head! He held my hand the whole time we talked. It was so sweet. He listened to me sing on a demo I played for him.” When asked of all the different ways she expresses herself artistically, Lita simply says, “I am an artist. I love them all and I do it all with the intention of tapping into that endless vessel .”
Lita resides in Los Angeles and performs regularly at such venues as Bar Lubitsch, Hotel Café, Room 5, Viper Room, Molly Malone’s and Genghis Cohen.
An avid proponent of Love, LITA is on a mission to remind the world and herself of something Invariably Vital:
